Our project Like a house in the woods is in a wonderful part of Southend between Hadleigh and Leigh-on-Sea, with views out onto Belfairs Wood.

The project offered us an opportunity to design an amazing, contemporary extension and refurbishment for great clients in a superb part of Southend. What Architectural practice would turn down that chance!

Truth being told, Kieron and Hayley love Southend and often take the kids to Chalkwell Esplanade for walks along the front to Leigh-on-Sea . . . often via The Peterboat for some food and drink by the water, followed by an ice cream at Saltwater Beach Café. Sounds great, right?

There’s something charming about the great seafront architecture, coupled with the history old Leigh, all mixed with a vibrant atmosphere and the scents and sounds of the water, that makes for a great way to spend a lazy day on the weekend.
